I am a multilingual clinical psychologist with expertise in a variety of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment difficulties. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, interpersonal challenges, gender/identity issues, social justice, and immigrant issues, are among my areas of interest.
I received a master’s degree in Forensic Counseling Psychology and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at William James College, followed by a pre-doctoral training at South Florida State Hospital.
My therapy sessions are guided by Terence's 185 BC quote, "I am human, and let nothing human be alien to me." This quote encourages me to attend to clients' needs and meet them where they are on their path to healing and recovery. My method of therapy is collaborative and offers clients autonomy over their care. I combine psychoanalytic techniques with interpersonal therapy, client-centered care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other relevant empirically-validated treatments.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with loved ones.
